Wendy M. K. Shaw is the author of Possessors and Possessed: Museums, Archaeology, and the Visualization of History in the Late Ottoman Empire (University of California Press, 2003), as well as many articles on the history of museums, archaeology, and art in the late Ottoman Empire and early Turkish Republic.
